YourLife WCD Ambassador Kizanne about contraception accessibility for all - featuring six young people’s attitudes, perceptions, and experiences with contraception
Kizanne James - WCD Ambassador
Kizanne's Project
Kizanne is promoting access to and use of the most effective forms of contraception in the densely populated St. Joseph District of Trinidad and Tobago. By debunking myths and sharing young people's stories, Kizanne is showing the positive impact of contraception, creating healthier attitudes towards youth access to contraception, and advocating for greater government involvement in sexual and reproductive health policies and programs.
Through her Project, Kizanne will:
- Develop a website and mobile app that contains information about different types of contraception and exact locations of where to find them
- Produce a documentary featuring six young people’s attitudes, perceptions, and experiences with contraception from around the community and across the region
